The Ivy House, Milwaukee, WI Wedding Photographer

Oh boy, I hope you’re ready for this post because I’m pretty sure this is the most pictures I’ve ever posted for a wedding! Dan and Meagan’s wedding day was filled with so much beauty and sweet moments that I just couldn’t narrow down my favorites! I met Meagan in California when she was maid of honor in Mike & Erica’s wedding, so when Meagan contacted me to photograph HER wedding, I was so excited! I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Dan until the day of the wedding, but one of the things that really struck me about him was how much he absolutely adores Meagan! Even though he told me that he wasn’t a big fan of having his picture taken, all I had to say was, “look at Meagan!” and my job was instantly made easy. These two killed it on the picture front and it was a joy working with them!

Everything but the guys getting ready took place at The Ivy House in Milwaukee, which is a newer venue, and let me tell you, it was GORGEOUS. The getting ready space was out of this world with it’s industrial yet classy feel, and I was obsessed with the wall of vintage speakers, but what I loved most about this space was all of the beautiful natural light coming into the room. It was really inspiring to be in a space with such amazing light coming in from so many places. As you’ll see during the ceremony, it was rather windy out, so we used this space for pictures quite a bit throughout the day and it was nice to have such a pretty space to fall back on.
