NIU, DeKalb, IL Engagement Photography

I had a lovely time wandering around with these two and getting to know them more earlier this month! Brian & Cayleigh met through mutual friends while attending NIU, so the university campus was the obvious location for their engagement pictures. Cayleigh was so darn giggly and cute during our time together, and I just loved how Brian laughed right along with her.

Prior to their engagement session I had only communicated with Cayleigh via email, but during the course of the shoot I learned that Cayleigh used to work at my chiropractors office. At the time, I wasn’t going there that frequently, so we neither of us knew who the other was as we were setting up our shoot. I love weird and random connections like that!
