Nashville, TN Engagement Photographer

Last month I had the opportunity to take a little adventure down to Nashville to photograph Andrew and Emilee’s engagement pictures. It was quite the whirlwind for me…I drove down from the Chicago burbs on Saturday, photographed their engagement session that day, then drove home on Sunday. I tried to make the most of my first time in the city with dinner with friends at Pinewood Social and breakfast at Steadfast Coffee (both were AMAZING, btw), and just that little bit of time there got me so excited to visit again.

Andrew and Emilee are newer residents of Nashville (Andrew’s been there for a year, Emilee for just a few months) and wanted their shoot to have a Nashville feel, so we hit up some of the 12 South murals, as well as the pedestrian bridge. Both were all really cool experiences for me as a Nashville first timer. I enjoyed getting to know them more and chatting with them about how different life is there compared to living in northern Illinois. They’re getting married here in DeKalb in June and I’m so excited to connect with them again when I photograph them making their vows!
