Trisha & Javier : DeKalb, IL Wedding Photography

Dear Trisha & Javier,

Here are some highlights from your wedding:

-You're wedding was very purple, which, as a fellow purple lover, I appreciated.

-It was cold outside.  Extremely cold.  But you guys were awesome and very enthusiastic about being out there in the snow.  I will heart you both forever for that because we got some fantastic images.

-Things may have been running behind at the start, and even though you express that it was stressful for you in your comments below, it never showed.  All I saw was elation and excitement.

-I teared up when I saw Trisha crying during Javier's vows (thank you Canon 70-200mm 2.8 for making that sight possible).

-Dinner was AMAZING.

- You guys were super cute when you had your first dance and Javier kept doing his fancy dance moves. :)

-Trisha, I love your ADORABLE smiling face that shows up in almost every single photo of you that I've posted below.

What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?                                        Javier: At the reception when all the ceremony was over, we had done our first dance, we had cut the cake, it seemed like nothing else could go wrong and we could just relax just the two of us and enjoy the moment.                                                                        Trisha: I think for me it was the time we had together for our first look. Up to that point our day had been pretty crazy with things not going as planned and running late. But once we had that moment together that is when the whole day turned around and became relaxing and wonderful.

If you could, is there anything you would have done differently?                             Javier: not hire Hy Vee                                                                                                        Trisha: I would have gotten to the church on time. I should have scheduled more time for hair and makeup. Running late was very stressful.

Best piece of advice for brides and grooms?                                                                     Javier: No matter how much you plan, something will go wrong or turn out differently than you expect.                                                                                                                    Trisha: When we were in the planning process I kept asking, "will this detail change the outcome? Or will we still be married at the end of the day?" If the latter was true I knew I didn't need to worry too much about that detail.

Anything else you’d like to say about your wedding day?                                  Javier: It was good times, I kinda wish we could do that again.                                 Trisha: No matter how many things went differently than planned, it was still the perfect day, because being married to my best friend is bliss! :)TrishaJavierblog_15 Congratulations, Trisha and Javier!!!
